Release of HDMI2.1 Source Tester (VA-1849)

ASTRODESIGN, Inc. (Head office: Tokyo, President: Shigeaki Suzuki) has released the new HDMI source tester (VA-1849), which supports automatic inspection of both HDMI2.1 and HDCP2.3/1.4.

The HDMI 2.1 Specification established in 2017 supports a bandwidth of 48 Gbps and incorporates many new features such as a ranger of high resolutions and faster refresh rate video transmission including 8K60p and 4K120p. Astrodesign released the HDMI protocol analyzer (VA-1847), compatible with HDMI 2.1 compliance test, in 2019 and newly developed VA-1849 as a model for its production line. As a highly reliable inspection device, it realizes automatic inspection of various items required on the production line and quality control sites of HDMI 2.1 compatible devices such as TVs, players, cables, etc.
